Billy Gardell Honolulu Concert reviews
Miserable
"For my husband's 60th birthday, I paid a hefty price for Billy Gardell's tickets, since he had never attended a professional football game. It was a rainy day, and although our seats provided a good view, they were not sheltered. We only stayed for 3 plays before departing.
Ben Roethlisberger mentioned that the weather during the game was the worst he had experienced since his rookie year in Miami during a hurricane.
To our disappointment, unlike PNC Park, there was no designated seating area at Heinz Field for enjoying beverages and snacks while watching the game. We were directed to the Great Hall, which offered standing areas for eating and drinking, but the limited seating was occupied by a band. Some security personnel offered folding chairs, but that was inadequate.
Moreover, once you exited Heinz Field, re-entry was not permitted, which was frustrating. Spending over $650 for 4 tickets to watch 3 plays without a proper place to sit and enjoy a beer in inclement weather was disappointing.
Eventually, we decided to leave and found a nearby sports bar where we savored nachos and beer while watching the remainder of the game in comfort."
